The students of Department of Commerce had made a visit on 9th Feb, 2018 to NSIC Incubation Center-Okhla. NSIC has been working to fulfill its mission of promoting, aiding & fostering the growth of Micro, Small & Medium Enterprises. Approximately 60 students of Final Year Commerce went to the Incubation Center of NSIC and got insight of the various manufacturing processes which is the basis to start a small scale business. The students were accompanied with faculty members of commerce department. The staff of NSIC present there explained the students about the working of various machines installed there for various manufacturing processes including Biscuit/Bread Making, Soya Milk making, Socks knitting, flour grinding, Cutting, Tailoring & Embroidery, fashion designing etc. After the demonstration of various machines, Mr. JoydeepMukherji conducted an interactive session with students in which various topics were discussed including entrepreneur business skill development, identification of appropriate technology, opportunity guidance, and facilitation on fund management through banks, facilitation on project report preparation etc. Towards the end of the visit, the students enjoyed the cultural food, and ambience of a traditional rural or village market, at Delhi Haat, INA before finally heading towards the college.
