Regarding the U.G.C. directives to combat ragging in Aditi Mahavidyalaya, the following steps have been taken:

1. At the Staff Council Meeting, Prof. Hema Gupta was appointed as Convenor and Prof. Nidhi Goel as Co-Convenor of the Anti-Ragging Committee.
2. Aditi Mahavidyalaya has both an offline and online procedure for students and parents to file anti-raging affidavits.
3. It is mandatory for all students to submit affidavits stating they will not engage in harassment activities.
4. The committee educates senior and first-year students on the legal perspectives on anti-ragging redressal mechanisms. During the orientation program, all freshers are given detailed information about ragging as well as strict penalties for those who will be caught engaging in ragging activities.
5. First-year students are also provided with the phone numbers and e-mail addresses of Anti-Ragging Committee members so that they could report any ragging activity in the college without any delay.
6. Every year, several teams of teachers are formed to inspect the college premises during college hours to check for ragging activities. Students who engage in ragging will be punished, rusticated, and even expelled for a specific term based on the Principal’s decision and University guidelines.
7. Several notice boards are placed in prominent locations throughout the college stating the punishment for ragging in accordance with Ordinance XV-C. Large, bold, and colourful anti-ragging posters have been placed throughout the college, sending the message that ragging is unacceptable. These include all of the anti-ragging committee’s contact information.
8. CCTV Cameras are placed at critical points to monitor them.

 In our college, we have been successful in curbing ragging. The college submits an anti-ragging report to the university.
