The Department of Mathematics offers mathematics as a subject in two undergraduate courses: B.A.(Prog)Mathematics and B.El.Ed.(Bachelor of Elementary Education). The department nurtures academics, research and analytical thinking. This approach provides a path to improve the overall performance of the students. The Department has eminent teachers who are involved in research work and participate in various conferences/seminars. They are regularly publishing their research work in national and international journals of repute. They motivate students for participating in various national and international competitions. In spite of COVID -19 pandemic, the mathematics faculty made teaching and learning process enriching for students by using various online platforms. The department focuses on undergraduate teaching-learning and appropriately combines classical teaching with innovative digital teaching tools to augment students’ understanding of the subject.
