NCC Wing
NCC wing of the college works with utmost dedication for the welfare and honour of the
college & Nation. NCC unit of AMV was established in the year 1998 and is attached to 2
Delhi Girls Battalion which comes under group B.
AMV NCC is the most active student society of this college which aims to develop character,
comradeship, discipline, leadership, secular outlook, spirit of adventure and the ideals of
selfless service amongst the youth, which has further helped the cadets to find their way to
Indian Defence Services and other such careers.
NCC Cadets participate in numerous activities throughout the year such as- CATC Camp,
Army attachment camp, National Integration Camp, EBSB camp, Republic day camp, PM
Rally, cleanliness drives, awareness camps, shooting competition, donation drives, trekking
camps, webinars, polio drives, celebration of special days such as Kargil Vijay Diwas,
Independence Day and NCC fest SHAKTI etc.
The college NCC also has an appointed NCC Caretaker who looks after the NCC at the college
level. He/she plays the role of a bridge between the institutional NCC unit and concerned
Battalion. Dr. Rashmi Gupta is the associate Care Taker Officer.
