NATIONAL SERVICE SCHEME
The National Service Scheme (NSS) is a Central Sector Scheme of Government of India, Ministry of Youth Affairs & Sports. Under the guidance of Prof. Mamta Sharma, Principal, our college has one NSS unit and 110 volunteers were enrolled by the NSS units in 2021-23 under Programme Officer Dr Mali Devi Sawariya (2021-23). The motto of the National Service Scheme is NOT ME BUT YOU. Our youth volunteers are serving the nation through the NSS led selfless community service and wear the NSS badge with pride and a sense of responsibility towards helping needy in the field of education, empowerment, health, legal rights, advocacy and awareness about gender and differently abled, blood donation, tree plantation, road safety awareness, employment and digital literacy, palliative care, donations, yamuna cleanliness, waste management, sanitation pad drives, environment conservation – restoration of water bodies and bird nest building projects, electoral awareness, integrity of nation and sustenance of world peace and many more initiatives.
